Midnight Petroleum celebrates 30th Anniversary

In August, 2019, Midnight Petroleum hosted its 30th anniversary customer appreciation BBQ event.  Partnering with the Northwest Territories SPCA (Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in Yellowknife, and the Hay River Animal Shelter in Hay River, Midnight Petroleum assisted in helping these organizations raise over $7,000.

The team at Midnight Petroleum presents the donation cheque to the NWT SPCA. Pictured from left to right: Curtis and David Rowe with Midnight Petroleum, Dana Martin and Jessica Grinder with NWT SPCA, Amilcar Hernandez with Imperial Oil and Jeremy Richard with Midnight Petroleum.

For every donation that was provided, Midnight Petroleum offered a co-branded dog leash and an opportunity for customers to win free fuel for a year!

Offering 30 cents per litre off at the cardlock between 11a.m. and 2p.m. was a successful draw for both locations, bringing many local customers out to the event. Combined with a delicious barbeque lunch and some Esso branded frisbees and sunglasses for the children, made for an impactful and memorable community event.

Happy 30th anniversary to Midnight Petroleum!
