How far will you go…to reach for the Esso 3 Stars?
On December 11, 2019, the Central and Eastern Esso branded reseller teams honoured their Esso 3 Star Sales & Esso 3 Star Safety Award Winners at a special event, hosted at the Webber Grill Academy in Vaughan, Ontario.

For the 3 Star Sales Award, the approved training courses include Professional Selling, Benefit Selling, Advanced Negotiations, Esso Diesel Efficient and Fuels conversations training. Eastern Reseller senior management nominated their sales professionals who have completed the required sales training, trusted advisor workshops and actively manage their sales pipeline utilizing an approved CRM tool.
Sales award winners who attended this event include Glen Johnston, Sean Meghen, Dexter Outridge and Craig Bannister from McDougall Energy Inc, Owen Johnsen & Sheldon Brannen from Maritime Fuels Limited and Jason Cooper from Dowler-Karn Limited.
For the Esso 3 Star Safety Award, Reseller senior management were required to nominate candidates for eligibility, having completed three safety training courses annually (i.e. WHMIS, TDG, Smith Driving, First
Aid, Operations Safety Contest), actively use behaviour based safety tools (Stop Think and Act, Job Observations, Hazard Identifications) and demonstrate leadership in safety by being a safety champion.
Safety award winners who attend this event, were Richard Royal and Bob Brazeau, both of McDougall Energy Inc.
So the question we have to ask is, how far will you go, to become an Esso 3 Star Recipient?
